INTERMITTENT OPERATION FROM A/C OR HEATER DTC – P1237

When diagnosing a concern relating to intermittent performance from the air conditioner or the heater, check for the presence of DTC P1237 (Active Air Flap Feedback Voltage High) in the Active Air Flap (AAF) system. This code may occur when there is a malfunctioning AAF assembly. Test the system using the GDS actuation test for the AAF and visually confirm if the AAF is opening and closing. If after performing the actuation test the flap is found to be malfunctioning, replace the AAF to resolve the concern.
