SIRI EYES FREE (CUSTOMER GUIDE)
A new feature available beginning with AVN 4.0 equipped 2015MY Optima vehicles, is Siri Eyes Free support, which allows you to use Siri while driving your vehicle. In order to enable this feature, Bluetooth connect your iOS device (iOS 6 or higher is required) to the vehicle and hold the push to talk button (A) until the head unit screen displays the Siri logo (B). The following functions can be performed using Siri Eyes Free:
- Call contacts
- Select and play music
- Hear and compose text messages
- Use Maps and get directions
- Read your notifications
- Find calendar information
- Add reminders
