SUBJECT: COMBINED TSB/SERVICE ACTION: K900 (KH) SHIFT LOGIC IMPROVEMENT – TCM UPGRADE (SA174)
This bulletin provides information related to an upgrade of the TCM software for 2015MY K900 vehicles, produced prior to April 30, 2014, which may exhibit a “rough shift feeling” concern, particularly when downshifting from third to second gear. To prevent and/or correct this condition, reflash the TCM (Transmission Control Module) as described in this TSB. Kia
is requesting the completion of this Service Action on all affected vehicles in dealer stock. For confirmation that the latest reflash has been done to a vehicle you are working on, verify ROM ID using the tables in this TSB.
