CHARGE PORT MANUAL RELEASE HANDLE CONCERNS
When attempting to use the manual/emergency release for the charge port on 2015MY Soul EV, it may appear as if the mechanism attached to the release handle has become detached from its mounting location. The plastic guide (see image below) is meant to free float on the cable and will protrude from the slot when pulled. The mechanism is operating as designed and no rep airs or calls to Techline are required. Simply pull the handle until the charge port doo r opens and then re-insert the cable and handle back into the slot.
