FORTE 2.0L SHORT BLOCK REPLACEMENT TIPS
When replacing the short block on a Forte 2.0L engine, make sure to remove two ladder frame bolts from the block being replaced and install them in the locations shown on the replacement block (Fig. A). Failure to transfer the ladder frame bolts will result in the engine having no oil pressure when started.
